Hi, I came across a site of optical illusions that warned off people who are prone to seizures. Can that really happen? Here is the site- obviously don't look at it if there is any risk.

I have epilepsy and it does not do anything to me. The things that trigger my seizures are strobe lights, stress, and lack of sleep.

I've been to that site and I think it's pretty cool. I have the same triggers as Courtney plus writing or too much physical activity. I also have petit mals talking, using my hands or laying in bed doing nothing. Optical illusions have never bothered me.

Lads what causes epilepsy this might sound stuiped and all im sorry if it does but is there a way to stop it or can you die from it?Im just curious and probably thick aswell;)

You don't stop a seizure. You let it run its course. Death caused by a seizure is rare.

Any stimuli can cause a seizure. Absence of stimuli can cause a seizure.

i have a question/situation, for someone about seizures,if you have the time i'd appreciate if you could private message me,someones life may depend on this.If stress triggers your seizure,PLEASE just pretend you didn't read this.

I heard something, that the 80's video 'Everyone Wang Chung' was banned in england for causing seizures. But what everyone has said here makes sense, no two people are alike, so no two epilepsies are alike.
